Kick-off email

Postby hilton on Tue Nov 04, 2008 12:48 am

Hi,

We've started a new free web-based service - picbrief.com. It is optimized for a desktop and for an iPhone (or iPod Touch). PIC Brief is fast and feature rich, however we will continue to add new features to both the desktop and iPhone versions - both are located at picbrief.com.

Try it and please either email your feedback to us or respond via this forum.

Enjoy!

Hi,

We were doing a little 'maintenance' last night. On the iPhone version, we now recognize (for example) "RHV" instead of the full "KRHV". On the desktop, instead of the ID, enter part of the airport name of city, and PIC Brief will run a search - quick-n-easy.

Thanks,

Tried it, love it!

Pretty amazing software. But when I tried to display the takeoff minimums only the first page of the book was displayed. Did I need to wait longer for the rest to download? I was at KMEV.

Also, will the departure procedures plate be included later on?

It doesn't replace WingX so until you come out with a full iPhone version I'll have to stick with my PDA and WingX. But it is pretty cool. Thanks!

This should work correctly.

These have always been there.

This is great. You just replaced a couple dozen shortcuts on my Treo for weather lookups and flight planning.
